Water Skills Academy (WSA) was born out of a desire amongst experienced watersports participants and trainers with the aim to amalgamate some of the most popular watersports courses and qualifications under one umbrella. anemones we can help you discover the rich wildlife on the shore. Newquay Marine Group is a group of local volunteers set out to educate and protect both visitors to and residents of the local area on the wealth and wonder of our marine habitats.

We volunteer with BDMLR and CWT – We manage the BDMLR boat and have our own to dive from and carry out marine surveys hence it was important to have Wise Accreditation. With CWT we carry out marine strandings and are now involved in carrying our Seal Surveys and ID with the Seal Research Trust – again a good reason to have this course under our belt.
We will in the near future be hopefully working with Wildlife tours and ferry’s as well as cruise operators to provide marine mammal observation service and education- We will also this year be doing talks to local schools as a means of education.

At St Martin’s Watersports, we believe that the best moments happen at sea. We offer kayak, and paddleboard hires, from Par Beach on St Martin’s, giving you the freedom to explore the Isles of Scilly at your own pace.
